The three-day training for community activists from Kyiv region on rights of seriously (terminally) ill patients.
Association of palliative and hospice care is to invite activists (managers of public and charitable organizations, political movements and associations) of Kyiv region to participate in a free three-day training "Ensuring of human rights of seriously (terminally) sick people". Training is supported by the Democracy Fund of the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine.

The main objective of the training is to enhance the knowledge and practical skills of managers of public and charitable organizations, political movements and associations of the following questions:

- Ensuring access to social, health and other services;
- Ensuring access to adequate pain management;
- Ensuring access to education for seriously ill children;
- Implementation of appropriate benefits for seriously ill people (benefits for housing, a car, etc.);
- Advice on wills, inheritance, etc.;
- Public Participation in the activities of government bodies, government organizations for the rights of seriously ill patients.


Training will be held on 17-19 October 2012 in Borispol (Kiev region). Attention! The exact date and venue will be notified individually to all who have registered.
