On October 21-28, 2018, representatives of our Association of Palliative and Hospice Care were in Belgium and Holland, where they visited a number of hospitals and hospices. It was cool! Not only because on the square, approximately equal to the square of the Odessa and Dnepropetrovsk regions taken together, the most different models of help to seriously ill patients are presented. And not only because in Belgium, where about 12 million people live, at least 5 non-governmental associations represent the interests of seriously ill patients. And not even because one of the hospices are led by a Roman Catholic nun with a master's degree in management. And not only because the temperature on the street was on average 15 degrees - and this is when it is already snowing in Kiev. It was cool because it was very difficult to organize this trip, but we did it. Until next time!
