On April 11, 2018, the next seminar "School of a Young Scientist" was held at the National medical academy of postgraduate education named after P. L. Shupik. The seminar was attended by young scientists, postgraduate students, clinical residents and teachers of the Academy (representatives of the departments: neonatology, organizations and economics of pharmacy, general and urgent surgery, pediatrics number 2, therapeutic dentistry, medical statistics, pedagogy, psychology, medical and pharmaceutical law, family medicine and ambulatory-polyclinic care, clinical laboratory diagnostics, child and adolescent diseases, psychiatry, psychotherapy and medical psychology, etc.).
The purpose of the seminar was to form the theoretical skills of young scientists in their successful independent work on the main aspects of obtaining scholarly grants (grantants search, application processing, resource allocation, presentation of results, etc.).
The seminar was attended by: Leading Specialist of the Department of International Affairs of the Academy, Head of the organization "Association of Palliative and Hospice Care", Master of Social Work, participant and organizer of internships, etc. educational events for specialists - Dr Alexander Wolf.
Launching the School's seminar, Marina Tryshchynska, Head of the Doctoral Studies and Research Organization, spoke with a welcome speech and emphasized on the urgency and importance of mastering young scientists with the fundamental and professional knowledge of writing project applications to increase the level of scientific research.
In his speech on "Fundamentals of project management and fundraising" Wolf Alexander covered issues related to information on the preparation (development) of projects (project applications), the main principles of writing applications for submission to international grants and further receiving a grant for research and development , educational activities and shared his practical experience in submitting project applications for grants.
